In Revelation 5, there was a scroll in the hand of God the Father (a scroll is a writing material that is rolled up like tissue paper. You roll it to open it and it may be sealed at different layers).
But the Bible says no one was worthy to even take this particular scroll.
This tells us that angels, demons and other spirits do not know everything. There are some classified and sealed information that only the Father has and holds in His hands. No one is worthy to take it let alone open the seal or to read.
In this case, Jesus is the only one who could take the scroll and open the seals.
In Revelation 6, after Jesus has receive the scroll, he began to open it. There were seven seals. and as each seal was opened different disasters and occurrence were going to start happening on earth.
Notice that as the scroll was opening, things that were already in existence became activated. This is what happens in the spirit when you open the word. It is like activation codes that makes things to come alive and also makes things on the move to change course and stay in action.
Bible said those angels were released and were on their way to cause disasters.
But in chapter 7, before the evils begin, another angel was sent to pause their action for a very important thing. That is; the people of God must be marked first so that the disaster about to happen will not happen to them. Bible says the angel called to the ones going to cause disaster and said:
“Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Rev 7:3 NIV
Child of God, both disaster and safety are activated. Don't wait for things to happen. Active your safety by the word and prayers.
a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand on the other side, fear not. Hold on to the Lord and trouble not your heart. You have been marked for safety.
This is also how blessings are activated; things, systems structures, etc begins to move to favour you.
Open the word and boldly declare: my coming in and going out is blessed. My horn is exalted like the horn of unicorn, I am anointed. Glory!
