Jesus Had to Learn - The Hard Way

Jesus Had to Learn - the hard way
.
The book of Hebrews is one of the most expressive book with respect to the deity  of Jesus. Yet, the book also contains some of the most vivid expressions of His humanity while he was on earth.
.
For example, Bible says;
"though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. Hebrews 5:8 NKJV"
.
Jesus had to learn. Things didn't just come to him because He was God in human form.
.
He had to learn everything - learnt how to relate with people, learnt leadership, learnt how to listen to God and flow in the will of the Father, learnt how to flow in the supernatural manifestation, learnt the word of God, learnt carpentry and cooking and so on.
.
But we need to understand too that Jesus did not have most of the kind of mentors, examples, precedents, etc that He was going to set. He is the first of His kind. At best, there were shadows of the real. But He is the real. The prototype. The mould. And He had to learn by His personal experience. And this is the hardest way to learn. It literally entails suffering.
.
Hence, Bible says Jesus had to learn how to successfully navigate life in the will of God to fulfill His destiny by the things He suffered. It was rough and tough in every dimension but He pulled through.
.
And He did all these so we won't have to do the same.
.
Now, because of Him, we have a path to follow and we have a precedent to copy.
.
Hence, Bible says for us, we can now "...imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." Hebrews 6:12 NKJV.
.
Now we can learn, not by our personal experience which entails sufferings, but by just following and learning from Jesus and those who have followed Him and are still following Jesus without reservations.
.
As Chapter 6:1-3 of Hebrews puts it, it is time to move past the level of baby Christians and take our learning in faith and obedience unto maturity.
.
God bless you 🙏🏾
